  • How do we distinguish mechanistic design from non-mechanistic (creative) design.
  • Personally, I can't accept a non-mechanistic model because I can't understand it.
  • But biological complexity isn't evidence of any "non-mechanistic sort of reality".
  • To state that the game development community is uninterested in non-mechanistic forms of creativity, or somehow incapable of thinking about them, seems absurd to me.
