Dried kidney beans contain a toxin called glycoprotein lectin that is destroyed when boiled for 10 minutes.
The mucus is interesting stuff too; it is a glycoprotein which is mostly glyco and not very proteinaceous, and which is secreted at about 99% water.
That drug is a platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa recptor inhibitor.
In other words, p-glycoprotein causes resistance to cancer medication.
