  • If the operand is a register, A86 generates a TEST of the register with itself.
  • The error also occurs if the operand is a constant number, and you are assembling to an OBJ format.
  • The operand should be a doubleword memory quantity; but A86 will accept a word memory variable or a memory variable of unspecified size.
  • "c" means the operand is a code label, pointing to a part of the program to be jumped to or called.
