I heard about this last week from that complaining board of ninnies brooklynian ... but took it with a grain of salt cuz they complain about EVERYTHING and always have an ax to grind with like every business they dont agree with. it is kind of scary tho, and from now on i probably wont take my bag into movie theatres cuz i always lay it on another seat!!!! the seats are cloth (they should be impermeable and sealed in leather) but the chances of getting bit are slim with so many people in there the bugs have a lot to choose from and they will most likely go after the human in the theatre who smells the ripest. so seriously, shower right before going to the movies and use a heavy odored chemical type scent/deodorant ... bed begs mosdtly like natural scents and will travel further to bite and be on that person. if you are still worried, thoroughly shake yourself out when you leave the theatre.
