LearnThatWord CODiE Finalist in Two Categories

Nominated for Best K-12 Instructional Solution and Best Reading/English Instructional Solution

Sebastopol, CA. (4/12/2011) - eSpindle Learning, a nonprofit providing powerful online vocabulary and spelling tutoring, has been chosen as finalist for two CODiE Awards. www.LearnThatWord.org is based on 200,000 fully edited words and provides unlimited personalized tutoring sessions. 

Personalized practice is available via membership, the organization's patent-pending Pay-Per-Result concept, and through its philanthropic campaign, Vocabulary Junction.

"LearnThatWord is fundamentally different from traditional vocabulary instruction. It is giving full support and control to the individual for 100% personalized instruction," says Rosevita Warda, founder and Executive Director of eSpindle Learning. "The recognition from the CODiE judges is wind in our sails." 

 Established in 1986, the CODiE Awards celebrate outstanding achievement and vision in the software, digital information and education technology industries.

Informally referred to as the "Grammy Award" of the software industry, the name "CODiE" brings together the word "CODE" and the symbol for information ("i"). 
The Codie Awards holds the distinction of being the only peer-recognition awards program of its kind in the industry, providing a unique opportunity for companies to earn the praise of their competitors.
