Grant Program Boosts Exposure for Literacy Nonprofit

Sebastopol, CA. (04/28/2010) - eSpindle Learning, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is now able to invite a global audience to its portal, www.LearnThat.org, thanks to the generous Google Grants program.

The Google Grants program empowers thousands of nonprofits to achieve their goals of website traffic, visibility and awareness by helping them promote their websites via free online advertising via Google AdWords. eSpindle Learning is one of the program's recipients.

When someone searches on Google.com for topics relevant to eSpindle Learning’s mission of literacy, vocabulary, and tutoring, eSpindle’s ads can appear on the top or right hand side of the page. And when a user clicks on the ad, s/he is taken directly to eSpindle’s website to learn more and explore the organization’s offerings.

Google's powerful approach of helping nonprofits help themselves enables nonprofits to become more successful at what they do and allows them to reach out to the community more effectively.

“Receiving an online advertising grant has done wonders for our organization,” says Warda, Executive Director of eSpindle Learning.  “In order to continue developing now concepts and supporting more and more schools and literacy organizations, it is essential for us to reach as many people as possible, since we sustain ourselves through membership revenues.”

The substantial advertising budget is further complemented by other benefits.
“The analytics data and optimization tools provided within the AdWords account interface are helping us to understand our visitors better and to find better ways to engage them,” says Warda. "Google is taking an active role to support successful implementation with the goal of helping nonprofits succeed."
